Big Bar is a town in Trinity County on the 299 corridor midway between Junction City and Salyer. Along with nearby Big Flat, it enjoys easy access points to some of the nicest locations on the Trinity River. Big Bar is incredibly popular in the boating community with great kayaking, rafting and other boating opportunities. Corral Bottom Road with a group of private properties is here and provides back road access to both Hayfork and Hyampom.
In terms of real estate, you'll find homes, ranches, river properties and raw land in Big Bar. For being so far out, it's fairly central to many locations, for example you can get to Weaverville in 30 minutes or the coast in 1.5 hours. Another perk worth mentioning is that the Strawhouse Resorts and Organic Coffee, which serves high quality food and coffee is only three minutes down the road. The smaller community of Del Loma is just west of here on 299 and is included in the listings below.
