Burnt Ranch is a boaters and outdoor enthusiast paradise. Among boaters its probably most well known for the Burnt Ranch Gorge. You'll know Burnt Ranch when you pass it if you're not blinking. The general store (now closed) has a kayak with a manikin holding a paddle mounted on the building. Although it's small it supports a thriving community with its own school.
